Olivier Award nominated, British/Lebanese actor, Taz Skylar recently wrapped shooting one of the leads of the highly anticipated Netflix series ONE PIECE, based on the biggest Japanese anime graphic novels, after having starred in Philip Barantini’s BAFTA nominated BOILING POINT, opposite Stephan Graham which he’ll soon be shooting the series adaptation for the BBC.

Taz has also gone on to write, produce and direct the short MULTI FACIAL which won a number of awards on the international festival circuit. Following this, Skylar starred in Dan Krauss’s THE KILL TEAM for A24, opposite Alexander Skarsgård and Nat Wolff, as well as starring in self-written and produced WARHEADS at The Park Theatre which The Stage described as “a supremely commanding effort from Skylar that tackles a timely subject with confidence” and was nominated for an Olivier Award in the Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre category. Skylar played the lead role of Leonard Vole in Agatha Christie’s WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION at The London County Hall to critical acclaim, and in HAMLET at the Young Vic. He was also seen in  Philip Barantini's feature VILLAIN and Dean Devlin's THE DEAL.
